This patient in her late 40's was referred to Dr. Romanelli by her breast surgeon. The patient had been recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and her breast surgeon was performing a nipple sparing double mastectomy. During her consultation Dr. Romanelli recommended a direct implant placement to follow her mastectomy. Dr. Romanelli placed silicone gel implants under the chest muscle. Her results are stunning! The patient was able to wake up from surgery with (new) breasts intact, which can bring emotional comfort when facing a cancer diagnosis. Post operative photos show the patient 5 months after surgery.
