This patient in her mid thirties came to us to discuss firming and shaping up her bust line. After two pregnancies, she felt her breasts had a ‘deflated’ look and wanted a fuller, higher and tighter appearance. Upon examination, Dr. Romanelli found her to be an excellent candidate for a breast augmentation (implants) at his Long Island practice combined with a vertical mastopexy (lift). The mastopexy would lift the position of her nipples and tighten up the loose skin, while the breast augmentation would give her the fullness up top (upper pole) that so many women look for. This patient opted for 250 cc silicone gel implants which filled her out nicely. The surgery took less than 2 hours, and the patient was resting comfortably at home later that day. The results are exactly as expected and the patient is thrilled! Her wardrobe options have increased greatly and her confidence is back and better than ever!
