Letters of support from your primary care physician, as well as physical therapists who have treated you for back, neck, or shoulder conditions, may aid this process.
Private payment and financing options are available for those patients who are not covered by insurance.
Federal and New York state law requires health insurance plans to cover all phases of breast reconstruction after a mastectomy to treat breast cancer, including enhancements made to the unaffected breast to achieve symmetry. Our staff will work with your insurance provider to obtain approvals for all mastectomy-related reconstructive procedures.
Massive weight loss is a great achievement, and some insurance providers recognize that by providing coverage for abdominoplasty or other post-bariatric surgery procedures, especially if health conditions, such as rashes from excess skin, are involved.
