This patient in her mid thirties came to see Dr. Romanelli to discuss an upper eyelid lift. Aging eyelids can affect a person’s appearance in ways beyond just looking older, because so much emotion is expressed with our eyes, sagging, drooping eyelid skin can cause a tired, sad or even angry appearance. Believe it or not, age is not the determining factor for when a blepharoplasty should be performed. Blepharoplasty can give excellent results in patients of various ages, and genetics plays a vital role. This patient is shown 6 months post op and is thrilled with her results.
