Fellowship training and advancements in microsurgery
After completing five years of general surgery, Dr. Peredo completed a fellowship in Burn & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the renowned Jacobi Medical Center.
There he helped create 3D-printed prosthetic limbs for children with congenital deformities of the extremities.
Dr. Peredo then attended the University of Colorado for three years to complete his training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, where he learned from leaders in the field serving a large population, covering several states. While in Colorado, he created an award-winning instrumental device to aid in microsurgical training, with continuing collaboration.
