New York Woman Hasmini Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)@ North Shore Cosmetic Surgery

This woman in her mid 20’s came to our office in Melville, NY to address her stomach. She was very unhappy with the extra skin and fat in her abdominal area. She wanted to see what Dr. Romanelli had to say about her candidacy for liposuction or tummy tuck.   Upon examination, Dr. Romanelli found her to be an excellent candidate for a mini tummy tuck or mini abdominoplasty. This procedure leaves a smaller scar than the tummy tuck but allows the doctor to flatten and reconstruct the lower abdomen. No incision around the belly button is needed.  Many patients want this option, but very few have the anatomy to make it a good option. The patient was thrilled that she was a candidate!   Surgery took place in just under two hours in our fully accredited ambulatory surgical center in Melville. No overnight stay was required, unlike the standard practice for a full abdominoplasty. The patient was recovering comfortably at home by the early evening.   As always, we are thrilled that the patient loves her results! Being part of their happy journey is our greatest reward.
