Natural and Balanced Rhinoplasty Results

Case Details

This 39-year-old woman came to consult with Dr. Walsh after years of thinking about rhinoplasty. She felt her nose was too large for her face, specifically wanting to improve her dorsal hump and better define and elevate her nasal tip.

To best address her concerns, Dr. Walsh performed an open rhinoplasty. She gently smoothed down the patient’s nasal dorsum and removed a small cartilage bump to create a soft, elegant profile. To refine her tip, Dr. Walsh carefully shaped the cartilage and used a small piece of the patient’s own cartilage as a support graft. She then narrowed the nasal bones to complete a balanced shape.

Now three months after surgery, the patient is recovering wonderfully and is absolutely thrilled with the improvement of her nose. Her incisions have healed beautifully, and though minor tip swelling is normal at this stage, she is already enjoying her harmonious new profile.
