Long Island Woman Has Tummy Tuck at North Shore Cosmetic Surgery

This woman in her early 40’s came to see us about improving her abdomen and breasts after having 2 children.  Her abdomen was stretched out, and the C-sections she had added to her dissatisfaction.   A friend referred her to North Shore Cosmetic Surgery. Her pregnancies had taken a toll on her body, leaving her abdomen with extra skin, and weakening the abdominal muscles.  Dr. Romanelli recommended a full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty),  which she readily agreed to. We also evaluated her breasts, and she decided to have a breast enhancement at the same time.  Dr. Romanelli performed her breast augmentation and full abdominoplasty at the same time. Surgery was performed in our ambulatory surgical suite in approx. 4 hours (with a private nurse by her side). This patient spent the night at our overnight stay facility in the office. The after pictures below are two months from abdominoplasty with muscle tightening (anterior rectus fascia plication). She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities, and is enjoying her new and improved shape.
