Breast Reduction for Back Pain with Dr. Walsh

This Long Island woman in her early 20s came to see Dr. Walsh about breast reduction to address breasts that felt disproportionately large for her frame and brought neck and shoulder pain, headaches, and difficulty exercising. After meeting with Dr. Walsh, she elected to undergo breast reduction. Given the size of her breasts and her bothersome symptoms, her procedure was covered by insurance. Dr. Walsh used an anchor pattern incision with a superomedial pedicle. Surgery was performed at Huntington Hospital and no drains were needed. These photographs were taken three months after her surgery. She is pleased with her result, and so are we.
