Breast Augmentationfor a Long Island Mom of Three Looking for Volume & Fullness

In her late 30s, this mother of three wanted to stop wearing her “smoke and mirrors” bras and so came to our plastic surgery office for breast enhancement. She wanted more fullness but also wanted the saggy skin filled out and her nipples lifted. Looking at her breasts, we saw that the lower breast skin was sagging beneath the fold of her breast. Also, there was no volume in the upper part of her breasts. We recommended a breast augmentation along with a “dual plane” lift. She chose to hide her incisions at the lower edge of the areola, which leaves virtually no scar for most patients. Through the small incisions around her areola, Dr. Romanelli placed her 350cc breast implants (silicone) and performed a dual plane lift. Surgery was performed in our ambulatory surgical suite in less than one hour and after an additional hour in our recovery suite (with a private nurse by her side). Her after photos show that she now has great fullness at the top and bottom of her breasts and that the skin of her breasts no longer sags on her ribs. She was happy to buy all new bras and yet doesn’t feel she has to wear them all the time.
