Breast Augmentation With Asymmetry at North Shore Cosmetic Surgery

This tall, athletic woman in her mid-20s was referred to us by a friend who also had breast augmentation by Dr. Romanelli. She came to our office in Melville from New York City to fill out her figure. It was difficult for her to wear dresses or bathing suits without “looking like a boy.” So when this statuesque, attractive woman came to our plastic surgery office for breast enlargement, we looked closely at her height (5 feet, 11 1/2 inches) and frame in sizing her for breast implants. This patient also had some asymmetry, with the left breast just a little larger than the right, but both in the A to AA range. She was looking for natural fullness and balance in her body, so together, we settled on saline breast implants, 460 ccs on the left and 500 ccs on the right. At her 3-month post-op visit, she is comfortable both in and out of clothes, having enjoyed attending summer weddings with confidence.  She loves her look, as do her friends, who couldn’t believe that “such large” implants bring her only to a natural-looking 36C cup.
