Case Details

This Long Island mother of four, in her mid-30s, came to our plastic surgery office for a consultation with Dr. Romanelli.  She was unhappy with her breasts, which she described as “deflated” and “droopy.” She wanted more fullness and wanted her nipples lifted, but she didn’t want any scars to lift her breasts. The side view photographs show how the skin was loose and sagging.  We discussed implant choices, and she chose to go with saline implants for their softness and natural feel. Looking at her, it was apparent that she would benefit from a “Dual Plane” breast augmentation, which provides an internal lift to saggy breast tissue and the nipples. Her surgery was done through a small incision beneath the fold of her breast, and the internal lift was done through the same incision. She has no scars around the areola or on the front of her breasts. Her photos are taken 6 months after surgery, and she is thrilled with her results. She can wear tops and bathing suits without water bras! PROCEDURE DETAILS: Dual plane technique (partial sub muscular) with 400cc Mentor Smooth Round Moderate Saline Breast Implants
