This early forties-old busy professional came to see Dr. Romanelli after gastric bypass surgery. The excess skin that remained from her 100lb-plus weight loss was an unwelcome reminder of her prior size. Additionally, it was causing rashes and discomfort. Upon examination, Dr. Romanelli found the patient to be a good candidate for a medial (or inner) thigh lift. This would remove the excess skin altogether and tighten up what remained, addressing the patient’s complaints perfectly. Surgery was just under two hours. The patient recovered in our recently renovated surgical recovery suite with an RN by her side. She stayed overnight, and Dr. Romanelli released her early the next morning.
