Liposuction by Dr. James Romanelli

This young professional came to our office seeking help with heaviness in her upper arms, which kept her from wearing the sleeveless tops she liked, especially in the spring and summer.  Her evaluation showed small pockets of excess fat at the back of her upper arms.  She was fit, and didn’t need to lose any weight, and, in fact, exercised regularly, including biceps and triceps. Dr. Romanelli recommended liposuction for this area.  He performed the procedure using power-assisted liposuction, which allows precise control of liposuction.  Her surgery took under an hour, and she returned to work in 48 hours.  Her pain was minimal. Her after photos show a great improvement in her contour, which gives the appearance of lengthening her arms.  She happily wears short-sleeved shirts or sleeveless tops.
