This petite patient, in her early 20s from Long Island, who was referred by a friend, came to our office in Melville, New York, to see Dr. Romanelli for a consultation on breast augmentation. Discussing her goals, this young patient was looking for fullness and balance in her hips.  She also wanted some improvement in symmetry. For these asymmetries, saline implants allow us to adjust the fill size very precisely: 275cc on the right and 300 cc on the left. Surgery was performed in our ambulatory surgical suite in less than one hour and after an additional hour in our recovery suite (with a private nurse by her side). She had a quick recovery and has returned to all her lifestyle activities.  At her 6-month post-op visit, she is comfortable both in and out of clothes. The patient states that she feels more confident as she has achieved fullness and symmetry.
