Long Island Woman Has aBreast Augmentation With Dr. Romanelli

This patient, in her early 30’s, came to our Melville office to see Dr. Romanelli for a consultation on breast augmentation.  She was looking for a board-certified plastic surgeon and was impressed that Dr. Romanelli was the Chief of Surgery at Melville Hospital. Talking with her about breast enhancement, this Long Island resident felt confident about her body but wanted “just a bit more” size in her bust line.  She tried on breast implant sizers and chose 280-gram “gummy bear” style silicone breast implants, which are about equal to 300 ccs in size. Surgery was performed in our ambulatory surgical suite in less than one hour and after an additional hour in our recovery suite (with a private nurse by her side). She had a quick recovery and has returned to all her lifestyle activities. The after pictures below are three months from breast augmentation.  She went from a medium B cup to a small D cup.  She loves her look in and out of clothes.
