Breast Augmentationfor Long Island Mom at North Shore Cosmetic Surgery

At 5′ 5″ and approx. 125 pounds this mother of three came for a breast augmentation to our Long Island plastic surgery office. She wanted her breasts enhanced so that she could fill out a bathing suit top. She was tired of wearing the “chicken cutlets” inside of her bra when wearing a dress.  Fit and active, her examination was completely normal. She did, of course, show a lack of fullness in the upper half of her breast, which is so common after pregnancy and breastfeeding.  We settled on 360 cc saline implants, which were placed through a small incision beneath the breasts. Surgery was performed in our ambulatory surgical suite in less than one hour and after an additional hour in our recovery suite (with a private nurse by her side). This Long Island mom recovered quickly from her breast augmentation and had help with her kids for just a few days before she was back “on the job,” taking her children to sports, supervising homework, and cooking dinner. She is now a full C cup in size and happily wears two-piece bathing suits as well as T-shirts and dresses. Her bra is now optional, and she has referred quite a few friends to our Melville office.
