Breast Augmentation With Sub-Glandular Placement at North Shore Cosmetic Surgery

This patient, in her late 40s, leads a very active lifestyle as a competitive bodybuilder. She wanted to take her physical fitness and weight training into consideration when discussing Breast Augmentation.  Dr. Romanelli found her to be an excellent candidate for Breast Augmentation. He suggested her implant placement as sub-glandular (above the muscle) to allow for her to continue weight training the chest muscles comfortably. The patient was interested in adding some volume without appearing too large. With the help of our VECTRA 3D imaging and trial sizing with Dr. Romanelli, she was able to get a visual of her expected results. Surgery was performed in our ambulatory surgical suite in less than one hour and after an additional hour in our recovery suite (with a private nurse by her side).
