This patient came to see Dr. Romanelli following a positive result for the BRCA1 gene, and a history of breast cancer in her family. The patient had implants from a previous Breast Augmentation, and after consultations with her breast surgeon and Dr. Romanelli, the patient decided that the best option for her was a bilateral mastectomy (skin and nipple sparing) with direct implant placement. Her post-operative photographs show her five months after surgery. She is extremely happy with her final results, but most importantly, she has peace of mind.
